Profile: Josh has been a Director and Partner at Bomax since 2021, specialising in bold, resilient architecture that responds to natural environments. He led the design of the Link Building in the city centre for Takealot and contributed to residential projects through innovative structural and off-shutter concrete form design, he is Passionate about surfing, outdoor living, and cooking, Josh blends creativity and precision to deliver enduring architectural excellence.

Qualification: Btech Interior Design Cum Laude

Profile: Nicole is a BTech Interior Designer, cum laude, with nine years’ experience in residential, hospitality, and corporate design. She brings a meticulous eye and thoughtful approach to every project. As co-founder of Terra Design and an accredited wildlife rehabilitator with the IWRC, Nicole blends creativity, functionality, and compassion across both her professional work and personal passions.

Qualification: BSC (HONS) AEDM

Profile: Bradley is a UK-qualified Project Architect with seven years of experience. Since joining Bomax in 2024, he has led the design and documentation of complex projects. Detail-oriented and approachable, Bradley brings strong technical expertise, creative insight, and a passion for mentoring. Outside the studio, he enjoys sports, travel, and discovering new wine farms and experiences.

Profile:Natasha is a Professional Architect with a curiosity-driven, design-led approach, focused on creating bold, meaningful spaces that engage users and inspire memorable experiences. She holds a Master of Architecture (Professional) degree from the University of the Witwatersrand and is a Golden Key recipient. With experience in complex mixed-use developments, hospitality, and interior projects across Southern and East Africa, she specializes in crafting immersive, story-driven environments that enhance user experience. A Top 10 SACAP Professional Practice Exam achiever in 2025, Natasha is motivated to shape the future of architectural practice. She is passionate about design, travel, and enjoys running.

Profile: Silke is a Professional Architect from Namibia leading projects at Bömax from concept through completion. Detail-oriented and resilient, she ensures technical accuracy, compliance, and design integrity while blending functionality with creative vision. Skilled in team and client management, Silke delivers thoughtful, high-quality architectural solutions. She is a Golden Key recipient and passionate about art, photography, and sport.

Profile: Paul joined Bömax in 2025 as a Project Architect specializing in high-end residential design. With Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from NMU, he combines creativity and technical expertise. Collaborative and process-driven, Paul emphasizes clarity and precision, bringing a refined design sensibility to the team. Outside work, he enjoys running, painting, and is beginning carpentry.

Profile: Cameron is a Candidate Senior Architectural Technologist who combines strong technical expertise with a focus on buildability and quality. She holds a Master’s degree from Nelson Mandela University and contributes to large-scale, transformative design projects. Inspired by nature, martial arts, and design, Gabriella’s curiosity drives her ongoing creative growth and exploration.

Profile: Lisa is a candidate architect with a Master’s from UCT (2023), graduating with distinction for her research on AI in Architecture. A Golden Key Honour Society member, she contributes across all project stages with clarity and precision. Calm and creative, Lisa is also a prize-winning photographer and artist, passionate about painting, leathercraft, and digital illustration.

Profile: Siyabonga is an Intern Architect and distinction graduate, recognised with honourable mentions in both local and international competitions, including as a finalist in SCAPE’s Faces of the Future. Passionate about sustainable, community-focused design, he is also exploring interior architecture. Positive, curious, and dedicated, Siyabonga aims to create meaningful impact through responsible, socially, and ecologically balanced design.

Profile: Mandy is a recent UCT graduate and Intern Architect at Bömax Architects. She is passionate about placemaking and environmentally conscious design, integrating conceptual thinking and technical application throughout her design process. Dedicated and curious with a keen sense of detail, she strives to create and learn in any type of surrounding. She is passionate about art, outdoor sports, and music outside of the studio.

Profile: Robyn is a recent graduate from UCT and an intern architect with a strong passion for sustainability and for blending the boundary between architecture and the natural world. She enjoys both outdoor sports and creative pursuits such as filmmaking, and has had one of her films showcased at the Cape Town Adventure Film Festival and featured in Zigzag Magazine. Robyn’s strengths lie in communicating stories, identity, and detail through conceptual design, visual presentation, and technology.

Profile: Kira is an Intern Architect and UCT graduate passionate about early-stage, site-specific design. Selected for the 2024 Dean’s List and 2025 IOC IAKS submission, she brings creativity, discipline, and enthusiasm to every project. A competitive surfer at national and international levels, Kira balances ecological, emotional, and functional design with professionalism, precision, and a dynamic drive to grow.

Nine is a Paris-based architecture student who interned at Bömax. Inspired by the contrast between refined design and wild landscapes, she brings curiosity, energy, and care to every project. Passionate about collaboration and representation, she thrives in team settings and enjoys being on site, ensuring clarity, efficiency, and a thoughtful, user-focused design process.

Profile: Max has been an indispensable part of the Bömax team for 7 years. Known for his versatility, he manages logistics for both Terra Design and Bömax, oversees storage, and supports daily operations. His diverse skills, reliability, and hands-on approach make him a vital asset across multiple areas.
