More about the winning project:
The design of Sunset Villa is inspired by its beachside location, blending in with the natural surroundings while offering luxurious living. The interior boasts high ceilings, archways, and skylights that frame the stunning mountain views and an infinity pool that connects seamlessly with the horizon. The open floor plan and outdoor entertainment areas allow for alfresco dining and relaxation, blurring the lines between inside and outside. A U-shaped courtyard provides shelter and leads to a fountain and infinity pool that merge with the ocean below. The material selection, including white-pigmented concrete, slate, limestone and site-excavated granite, complements the coastal landscape and adds a touch of Mediterranean influence.
The design concept came about through a private design competition, which resulted in Bomax Architects being chosen as the appointed architects to undertake this high-end residential project. Sunset Villa is currently in the design development stage.
