On Thursday, 7 September, the 2023 SCAPE Trade Show | What If took place at The Lookout at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town. The Bomax team joined over 650 industry delegates, including developers, architects, urban planners, interior designers, landscape architects, engineers, and students, for the year’s 4th annual biggest built industry event.

We had the opportunity to browse 34 exhibitors showcasing the latest and most innovative products, discover fascinating and thought-provoking installations that imagine future scenarios, and grab seats for an insightful TED Talk-style lineup.

Following a thought-provoking line-up of seminars from trade professionals, we looked to our youth – the ‘Faces of the Future’. Reimagining Robben Island, the seven shortlisted students in the SCAPE Magazine 2023 Student Competition were honoured at an Awards Ceremony. Read the article here.
