Mark your calendar! Open Studios Architecture is back in Cape Town on 17 and 18 October 2023. Bomax is excited to participate in this year’s event and welcome you to our studio on the corner of the bustling Pepper and Bree streets in Cape Town as part of the CBD studio group.

One of the most anticipated events on the design calendar since 2013, Open Studios brings together architects, built environment professionals, students, and the general public for a city-wide showcase of creativity and innovation.

The event invites you behind the scenes of Cape Town’s leading architecture and design practices, allowing visitors to meet architects, discuss their projects and gain insights into their design process. With more than 20 participating studios, it’s a unique opportunity to experience the creative spaces where design happens.

Each studio will present its own curated display of work. Guests can look forward to engaging with notable built-work displays, including architectural models, drawings, photographs, films, and virtual reality, offering an exclusive glimpse into the projects that have left an indelible mark on our city.

Bomax will open its doors on Tuesday, 17 October, from 5-8 pm.

The event is free to attend and focuses on two main hubs, CBD and East City, allowing visitors to explore multiple studios in one night. You can grab a printed map from Bomax or at any other participating studio on the night to guide you to your next studio visit.
