This precinct includes a collection of buildings that will enhance the city, creating a new CBD and gateway to the Loch Logan Waterfront.

The central component for this urban solution is the extension of the Loch Logan Waterfront. A retail bridge extends the mall over Henry Street to a grand entrance on Nelson Mandela Boulevard.

New atriums are created as junction nodes with vertical circulation and natural light. These spaces have attracted new international tenants, such as H&M who are now being fitted into the South entrance volume. Office towers were designed for commercial businesses that match a proposal to refurbish the existing old residential tower. A world class city has been visualized.

The aim of this urban solution for the city of Bloemfontein is to create a unique look and feel to high-street shopping on 2nd Avenue, and an internal mall shopping experience at Loch Logan – all with convenient parking access and pedestrian circulation.
