La Belle Vue is a creative design collaboration between Bomax Architects and OKHA interiors.

The beach house was designed to simulate the look and feel of the beach by incorporating natural elements and raw materials, all to create a relaxed barefoot beach feel. The architecture seamlessly integrates interior design not only with the finishes and decor, but with the sculptured forms of the building as well.

As the house presents a seamless integration of both the indoor and outdoor environments, so was the working together of both the architects and interior designers.

The Bomax architecture expresses a modern minimalistic aesthetic however, the client requested that the elements of the interior express his African heritage. OKHA achieved this by designing a sculpted and carved front door inspired by traditional African motifs which sets the tone for further contemporary interpretations found throughout the interior.
