101 HERTZOG BLVD | METROPOLITAN POLICE HEADQUARTERS
A complete refit to 101 Hertzog Boulevard is currently underway for the Metropolitan Police. This project is one of a few similar projects nearby that are re-defining Roggebaai within a master plan designed by Bomax. Following the recent completion of Media City on Hertzog Boulevard, the precinct will start behaving as it should, as a functioning corporate and business hub with showrooms and A-grade offices mixed with creative studios and business hotel accommodation.
The building is being converted to allow 4 parking bays per 100m2 office. Energy consumption and sustainability are taken into consideration by redesigning air-conditioning and circulation in terms of a new flush glazed façade with sun shading and UV filtration.
