Bomax is a young, dynamic firm of dedicated architects, that was started in 2000, by the founding members, Dion Max Walters and Frank Böhm, who both graduated from UPE. Dion now runs the busy studio from the top floor of a period building on Shortmarket Street. The design work of the practice is the common language threaded into the architecture, which is otherwise undefined in its complexity and diversity.
Bomax is working a collection of projects that are currently being constructed both nationally and internationally. Project types include: upmarket residential homes, cafés, restaurants, diamond showrooms and commercial buildings.
Skilled, registered [CIA, SACAP] architects and technologists work together in teams, pushing the envelope in the pursuit of a fine art within architecture and design.
The design abilities of Bomax are diverse, which has allowed the firm to take on different types of projects and clients. The philosophy of the practice is to interpret and mould the brief to create what the client requires in terms of space and architectural design.
